Police Stations with State of Art technology along Hyderabad Metro Rail

The security arrangements for the Hyderabad L&T Metro Rail Project have been reviewed by Telangana DGP Anurag Sharma. In the review meeting, it was proposed to set up 17 police stations and 48 outposts along the metro rail. All the police stations will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and gadgets to ensure safety and security of people. It was decided to have 5 ‘A’ category police Stations and 12 ‘B’ Category Police stations. The required trained manpower will also be deployed. Additional Director General of Police, (Railways and Road Safety) Krishna Prasad, gave a presentation on the security implications of the Metro Rail Project. The project was scheduled to complete by July 2017 but it was delayed due to number of reasons viz., changes in alignment, land acquisition etc. HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy, Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police M Mahender Reddy have attended the meeting along with senior Police and Metro Rail officers.
