Government is in defence mode against Aqua food park

After the day of Powerstar voicing against the construction of Aqua Food Park in West Godavari District, the state government seems to be in defence mode. The growing unrest in the region has led the Chief Minister Chandra Babu to review the status of the project. He reviewed the status of the project with District Collector. Agriculture minister, Prathipati Pulla Rao said that the TDP government is Pro farmer’s and it will consider apprehensions of the villagers. On the other hand, YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy scheduled a tour in the affected villages on 19th October. In this regard, the party persons today, met in Bhimavaram to finalise route map for the Jagan tour. Former of Eluru MLA, Alla Nani accused the government for creating tensions in the region. Congress party leader C Rama Chandraiah said that the congress party is ready to join hands with other opposition parties for protesting against Aqua Food Park.
