HPS accused Kukatpally MLA for fanning land encroachment

Hyderabad Public School (HPS) accused Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao for fanning the land encroachers. The Board of Governors of HPS accused the locals and GHMC officials for encroaching. They said that the land located at Survey No 147/1 belongs to HPS Begumpet and it was being encroached in the name of the graveyard. In July 2015, the locals with the help of politicians removed the boards of the school and constructed a compound wall. The portion of the said land was allocated to locals by Ranga Reddy District Court. Subsequently, the school approached High Court which stayed lower court order and also instructed police department for providing needed protection. Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao along with his supporters visited the site on September 28th and had given instructions to GHMC officials to proceed further with construction. The complaints to police department left with no use, BOG accused. They even met DGP North Zone and requested him to stop construction but in vain.
