TRS will get single digit seats in 2019 elections: Mallu Ravi
Hyderabad, Oct.13: Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was day-dreaming that he will once again win the elections in 2019, TPCC has stated that the TRS party will get only single digit seats in the next elections. The TPCC asserted that the KCR was passing time by not fulfilling the assurances made during 2014 elections.
In a pressnote here today, TPCC vice-president Dr Mallu Ravi alleged that the Chief Minister conducted a ‘Darbar’ by inviting Muslim leaders to his farm-house on Dasara festival day. He demanded that the Chief Minister prove his sincerity towards Muslims welfare by implementing 12% reservation to them and provide judicial power to the Wakf Board. Stating that the problems of the Muslims will not be solved if the Chief Minister gifted clothes on Ramzan festival day and offering dinner to the Muslims on Dasara day. He wondered the Chief Minister guessing that the Opposition parties would get some seven to eight Assembly seats in the next elections. He also asked the latter as to why he was expecting elections and why he conducted surveys now.
Conducting surveys now was the best example that the Chief Minister himself had no belief in his own rule, he said. He demanded that the Chief Minister to go for mid-term elections if he has belief on his rule by tendering resignation to his post. “The Chief Minister was deceiving his own conscience. How can he say that he will win more seats if the elections come now?”, he asked.
While the Chief Minister was saying that the financial position of the State was sound, he was not waiving off farmers loans at one go and not releasing funds for fees reimbursement scheme, Arogyasree and drought relief funds, he pointed out. He asked the Chief Minister to release funds for the students, farmers, employees immediately.
