Some people requested me not to become director

Writer turned producer Kona Venkat is heavily participating in promotions of his latest outing 'Abhinetri' movie. He revealed interesting thing on why he did not enter direction field yet. During the Interaction with media, when he was asked about why he was limited to production rather than directing his own films, then he said that "There is the scarcity of writers in Tollywood Industry. Even some of the directors requested me not to enter direction because there won't be anyone who will be providing them scripts if I enter into direction". Thus Kona Venkat revealed in brief reason behind why he did not enter direction. However, some of the people opine that it seems exaggerated claiming that other directors requested him not to enter direction because they won't have anyone to provide scripts if he leaves to that field. May be Kona Venkat is the talented writer and proved himself but off late, his works didn't have much success at box office. For now, he is busy as a writer and producer for a couple of projects in Hindi and Telugu languages. We need to wait and see whether one day Kona Venkat turns as the director or not ? in coming days.
