CM KCR to Unveil Siddipet District Tomorrow

Hyderabad, Oct.10: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today held a high-level review meeting on the launching of new districts on Dasara festival on Tuesday. Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and other higher officials attended the meeting that discussed on the crucial launch of the new districts. KCR reportedly expressed satisfaction over the speedy arrangements being made for the launching of districts. The total number of the districts is expected to be announced through a notification on Monday late night. He sought to know about finalizing the allocation of officials and staff and allocating new Collectorate offices, SP offices and other departments on occasion. The meeting assumes significance as the Chief Minister is scheduled to launch Siddipet district at 11.12 am on Tuesday, being Dasara festival. In a related development, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s program at Siddipet. The police have made elaborate security arrangements and Harish Rao directed the officials to provide all facilities during the event. A rally will be taken out from the Collectorate to the old bus stand meeting point on the occasion to give a rousing reception to the Chief Minister.
