Prakash Raj's 'Mana Oori Ramayanam' which released this week received good response from critics and termed it as feel good entertainer. But the collections of the film are very poor at the box office. Prakash Raj shared a video where he requests the audience to watch and support good films like 'Mana Oori Ramayanam'. He said that when he was ready to do this film, several people said that this won't click at the box office and the audience won't watch a film if there is no masala and item songs in the movie. But he was confident that audience encourages good films, he was proved wrong by the audience now and those who advised him are winning as they are right because two days collections of 'Mana Oori Ramayanam' are very poor at the box office. He further said that encouraging this kind of good films will help in bringing more good films to the society. we need to wait and see how far audience listens to Prakash Raj words. Interim, it was true that audience are not watching films which have less or no commercial elements, even 'Manamantha' which received rave reviews failed at box office. At the same time, the rush of releases is other factor for failure of this kind of good films. Finally, Prakash Raj is right and audience needs to encourage good films to some extent to give hope for other filmmakers to come up with such kind of good films in future.
