Swetha Basu Prasad had bitter past in the Tollywood. She booked in the prostitution case after which Tollywood makers turned down the actress completely. She bids good bye to Tollywood and joined the bandwagon of the Hindi serial actress. Swetha Basu reprising ancient ruler Chandragupta Maurya’s wife Nandini in Star Plus telecasted serial, Chandra Nandini. She is also working as a script consultant in Phantom Films. Shweta is not new to the small screen. She rose to fame on the small screen through her roles in shows like Kutumb, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Karishma Kaa Karishma.
