'Pellichoopulu' USA rights were acquired by Freeze Frame Films LLC. for 12 lakhs. The movie minted $1.2 million in its final run at USA box office, which is close to 8.15crores gross collections. The share amount is close to 4.89crores. So if we consider the distributor bought price of movie's rights in the USA, the film made 40times return on investment for its buyers. This is really a rare feat by this movie because minting 40times return on investment is highly impossible but 'pellichoopulu' made it at USA box office. Even the movie collected 10.5crores share at Ap/Ts box office in its final run. Made under a budget of 1.5crores, the film registered very good profits for its buyers.
