TDP to deposit Rs.2 Lakhs for each party worker who has worked since 1983

Nara Lokesh addressed the 3rd day training session for TDP party workers. He said that TDP party will deposit Rs.2lakh for each party worker who has worked since 1983. The interest earned on the principal amount of Rs.2lakhs will be disbursed to party workers on a monthly basis. The nominees for the scheme will be identified by MLAs from each constituency. After receiving the information form MLAs, the details will be scrutinised to enroll for the benefits. Currently, the TDP welfare fund has deposits worth of Rs. 60crores from which an interest to the tune of Rs. 5Crores. He will set the target to collect upto Rs.100crores by the next year to earn interest of Rs.10crores. Then the Rs.10crores can be utilised for the welfare of workers by keeping intact the principal amount. Lokesh claimed that there is about Rs.13crores disbursed towards welfare of party workers in last two years.
