Vikram's 'Inkokkadu' final status - Non-Shankar Career biggest solo hit

Vikram is known for trying something new, irrespective of his films box office success rate, he continues to experiment with his films. His latest outing 'Inkokkadu' despite mixed talk performed well at box office. 'Inkokkadu' released as 'Irumugan' in Tamil. The film collected 80crores gross worldwide for its Tamil and Telugu versions, while the share amount is close to 43crores. This is the Highest amount collected by a Non-Shankar film in Vikram's career. His best film until now is 'I' directed by Shankar which minted 239crores gross worldwide. Vikram's films other than Shankar directed ones never seen a Good success rate at the box office but his 'IruMugan' remained as a Hit film at box office. The Telugu version 'Inkokkadu' alone minted 9 crores in Ap/Ts box office , while the gross amount is close to 16crores. Finally, Vikram really deserves this success because he is one of the best Hard working guy who always wants to come with something different to surprise the audience.
