Ola Launches Offline Booking Facility

Popular taxi aggregator Ola announced that the launch of offline booking facility for its customers. In this facility, customers can book cab by clicking book via SMS option in the app. On clicking the same, Ola receives customer location information. Then, Ola sends the availability of micro, mini, prime and luxury cabs information. After selecting the cab, the customer receives driver details through SMS. This feature pilot tested in cities like Indore and Nagpur since June, 2016. The offline feature will be rolled out in 102 cities over the coming weeks. This feature may very helpful for the users having low end phones.
