Employees Asked to Remain Indoors When It Rains

Hyderabad, Sept.20: Keeping in view the Weather Department’s warnings about rainfall in the coming two days, Traffic DCP Ranganath here on Tuesday exhorted the employees not to come out of their offices immediately if rain falls around 4 pm. Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Ranganath said the traffic will be jammed heavily if the rain water comes on to roads at some places. He said the police will provide information through Facebook, WhatsApp, Mobile App, FM Radios and TV Channels on traffic jams time and again. “The vehicle riders have to follow the suggestions of the police and have to plan their journey as per suggestions”, he said. It may be recalled that the traffic was heavily jammed in the city due to continuous heavy rains for five days recently. Keeping the recent experience in mind, the Traffic Police urged the people not to come on to roads immediately after their office timings. The police said that they will alert the people through the social media on traffic situation and urged the people to follow the police suggestions to plan their journey.
