Araku MP says Revenue officials encroached upon her land in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept.12: Araku MP Kottapalli Gita today alleged that the Revenue officials have encroached on her land illegally in the night near Raidurgam in Ranga Reddy district. The MP alleged that the Revenue officials, without serving any notice, occupied her land and even attacked her security guard, who resisted. “Despite having all documents related to the land, the Joint Collector and TICC MD have taken hostile attitude against me,” she alleged. She said she would try to bring the issue to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and hoped that the latter would render justice. She also clarified that the Telangana State government had given a notice for acquiring land for road widening. Of the 53 acres, the government has taken over 3.4 acres. But the Revenue officials again entered her land illegally, she added.
