Give name, logo for TV to get Rs 51000: KTR

Hyderabad, Sept.4: IT Minister KT Rama Rao vowed to develop Mana TV a government television to promote education and agriculture in a big way in the state. In a release here on Sunday, KTR asked the people to suggest a name and logo and get a cash prize of Rs 51,000 for the television channel. The IT Minister maintained that the new TV Channel would make necessary changes in its name and make ample use of technology for its wide gamut of programs. It will be promoted with a slogan of Learning, skilling and farming (Agriculture) he said. The Minister said that the new TV Channel would be developed to take up awareness programs for youth, unemployed people, women and housewives and farmers. Efforts are being made to re- strengthen the new television as an educational channel.
