TTDP asks local bodies’ reps to revolt against govt

Hyderabad, Aug.27: TDP Telangana official spokesperson Nannuri Narsi Reddy today called upon people’s representatives of local bodies to raise their voice against the TRS government’s hostile attitude and teach a lesson to the government. In a pressnote here today, Narsi Reddy said the State government was not paying salaries to local body elected representatives. The State which has surplus budget was not able to pay salaries to the elected representatives of local bodies. Though it was making payments to MLAs in lakhs, but the honorary salaries of local bodies’ representatives were stopped, he alleged.
