Traffic regulations in city tomorrow
Hyderabad, Aug.6: Hyderabad City Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS, has notified traffic diversions and restrictions in order to relieve congestion, to maintain smooth flow of traffic and to ensure public safety and order, in connection with ‘Bharatiya Janatha Party Workers Maha Sammelan at L.B.Stadium’ on August 7 from 1500 hours to 1900 hours. In West Zone: Traffic will be congested at S.P. Road, Greenlands, Camp Office, Raj Bhavan Road, Khairatabad junction both sides and Begumpet surroundings commuters are requested to take alternative routes from 1400 hrs to 1900 hrs on August 7. In Central Zone, at AR Petrol Pump Jn., traffic will not be allowed towards BJR statue and will be diverted towards Nampally or Ravindra Bharati. Traffic coming from Abids and Gunfoundry side will not be allowed towards BJR Statue and Basheerbagh Jn., and it will be diverted at Gunfoundry towards Chapel road. Traffic coming from Basheerbagh Jn. and going towards GPO, Abids will be diverted at Basheerbagh Jn. towards Hyderguda and King Koti road. Traffic coming from Old MLA quarters towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at old MLA Qtrs towards Himayatnagar Y Jn. Traffic coming from King Koti to Basheerbagh via: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will be diverted at King Koti X Roads towards Tajmahal. Traffic coming from Liberty towards Basheerbagh Jn. will be diverted at Liberty Jn. towards Himayatnagar. Traffic coming from Traffic Control Room towards Basheerbagh Jn. will be diverted at PCR towards Nampally road. However, the delegates and pass holders will be allowed at every diversion to proceed towards L.B.Stadium. Alighting and Parking Places: All vehicles coming from M.G.Road, R.P.Road should be alighting at Kattamaisamma Temple via: Children Park, D.B.R.Mills and Lower Tankbund and park the vehicles at N.T.R. Stadium and retreat. All vehicles coming from Hyderabad, R.R.Dists and Warangal Dist after alighting at Basheerbagh x road, park the vehicles at Nizam College Ground through Gate No.3 and retreat. All vehicles coming from Mahabubnagar, Khammam and Nalgonda after alighting at GPO, Abids will park at Exhibition Grounds. All vehicles of VIPs after alighting at BJR statue (in front of Gate No.2), the vehicles will be parked at Upper Ground of Nizam College Ground.
