Security tigtened up in city for PM visit

Fool-proof and elaborate security arrangements have been made for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Telangana on Sunday. The Prime Minister is visiting the State on the invitation of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Modi is visiting for the first time to Telangana State after its formation. Over 3,000 security personnel have been deployed at Gajwel in Medak district and at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, where he would be addressing a party meeting. A three-tier security would be in force for the visit of the Prime Minister. The NSG personnel inspected Gajwel as well as LB Stadium along with bomb and dog squads. The Prime Minister would arrive here by a special flight at Begumpet airport at 2.20 pm and would proceed to Gajwel by a helicopter. After reaching Gajwel, he will launch the Telangana government’s prestigious Mission Bhagiratha scheme and lay foundation stones for various programs, including Ramagundam fertilizer plant, by remote control. The Prime Minister would return to Hyderabad at 5.15 pm to address BJP workers at LB stadium. Massive traffic restrictions would be in force in the city tomorrow in view of the BJP maha sammelan in which the Prime Minister would participate. He will leave for Delhi at 6.40 pm.
