EAMCET-3 hall tickets available from September 3

The EAMCET-3 committee met at the JNTU campus on Saturday and decided to change the hall ticket numbers as well as the examination centres of the students in a bid to make fool-proof arrangements for the prestigious exam. The committee comprising Chairman Papireddy, JNTU Vice-Chancellor Venugopal Reddy and EAMCET convenor Yadaiah discussed the matters concerning the examination. The government had canceled the EAMCET-2 results following leakage of the medical question paper which led to a Rs 100 crore racket, favouring students of rich families, who paid up to Rs 70 lakhs for being coached on the leaked question paper. In the wake of the educational disaster, the government scrapped EAMCET-2 and and decided to hold another examination on September 11. A notification in this regard is expected by August 8, according to the committee. They said that the EAMCET-3 website would be made available in a couple of days. The students can get their hall tickets from the website from September 3 onward.
