Rape-based videos sell like hot cakes in UP

The Akhilesh Yadav government that had taken cognizance of law and order being a state subject rather belatedly with the national highway rape case of a mother and her minor daughter is now witness to another crime, that of the sale of rape-based videos. The rapist criminals are taking videos of their criminal assaults that they are committing and selling them to video shops, which in turn are making hay by selling the video copies. This video crime is widespread in Uttar Pradesh, which means the videos are also being sold in the entire Hindi heartland. While the criminal assault videos are being openly sold, the Akhilesh Yadav government, however, is blind to it, as it was with all crimes in the belief that just blaming the Centre for the lynching over beef-eating person would absolve the State government of all responsibility. The criminal elements are fixing the rate for their assault videos. If the incident is of 30-second duration, the rate is Rs 50, if it is a 5-minute one it is Rs 150 and so on. The rate is fixed on the basis of the duration of the criminal content. The national media are agog with the criminal videos of UP under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav.
