Srivari temple sends pushkara sare to Vontimitta

Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju received the Krishnavenamma Pushkara Sare, which was flagged off at Tirumala on Wednesday, at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanoor at around 10:30am. Later the sare was taken inside the temple to receive the divine blessings of Goddess Padmavathi Devi and later sent in the Yatra Vehicle to Vontimitta. Tirumala temple Dy EO Kodanda Rama Rao, Tiruchanoor temple DyEO C Ramana, VGO Ravindra Reddy were also present. Krishna pushkarams start on August 12 and run for 12 days, when people bathe in the river.
