Two Indigo jets almost collided over Guwahati

Two Indigo aircraft had a close shave after coming perilously close to each other over Guwahati, leaving six people injured, including two air-hostesses. The aircraft involved were Indigo aircraft 6E-136 Guwahati to Chennai and 6E-813 Mumbai to Guwahati. At least 300 people were on board both the jets. The Indigo statement said, "Indigo flight 6E 813 from Guwahati to Mumbai experienced turbulence due to the monsoon. This caused aircraft to climb 250-300 feet. At same instance aircraft 6E 136 was crossing 6E 813 following protocol pilot took advisory action to maintain desired separation. Four passengers complained of giddiness and 2 cabin crew needed first aid, post turbulence." The statement added, "The incident took place yesterday (August 2, 2016). Flight later made a normal landing."
