EAMCET-2 stands scrapped, says KCR

The EAMCET-2 on Tuesday stands scrapped. But the fresh date of the examination and other details have not been announced even as the rankers and their parents have been agitating against a fresh examination. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday afternoon received the CID report on the leakage. After a review, he said that the EAMCET-2 leakage had all-India ramifications. The chief culprits operated from Delhi. They are Mukul Jai, Mayank Sharma, Sunil Singh and Irfan. There were helped by 30 sub-brokers. It was these sub-brokers who negotiated with the parents of some 200 students. All of them would be punished. The Chief Minister said 6 of those involved in the leak have already been taken into custody. The others also would be taken into custody shortly. He alleged that question paper leakage was an all-India phenomenon.
