Sujana & Ramesh meet Arun Jaitley

Science Minister Sujana Chowdary and TDP MP CM Ramesh on Monday met leader of the Rajya Sabha and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and discussed with him the promised Special Category Status demand of Andhra Pradesh. Arun Jaitley had already ruled out the SCS demand while replying to the discussion on Private Member Bill of KVP Ramachandra Rao on Friday. The meeting took place after the TDP mounted pressure on Parliament to demand the promised status. Ramesh had already asked for an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He had asked the PMO to allot him some time for talks with the Prime Minister. The TDP is obviously looking for any rethinking on the SCS issue by the BJP before taking its own decision.
