Harish inspects arrangements for PM’s visit
Hyderabad, July 30: Close on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Telangana visit on August 7, the State government was making elaborate and fool-proof arrangements in Medak district. Taking a cue from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao here on Saturday inspected the arrangements at Komatibanda and other places in Medak district where Modi is to launch the prestigious first phase of Mission Bhagiratha program. The officials are making arrangements for a helipad at Komatibanda area and place being spruced up for the public meeting. Harish Rao asked the top brass to make the best of the arrangements with tight security. MP K Prabhakar Reddy accompanied the minister. The Prime Minister is slated to address a public meeting in Medak district after the formal launch of the drinking water program along with Chief Minister. KCR has already directed the Director General of Police Anurag Sharma to make the fool-proof arrangements, and the official machinery is keenly monitoring the related works.
