Lawyers JAC makes a bid to visit Mallannasagar-hit ryots
The lawyers JAC in Telangana on Saturday made an attempt to tour the Mallannasagar-affected villages, but their bid was thwarted at Ontimamidi in Medak district, where they were halted by the police. The lawyers argued with the police leading to pushing on both sides. The angered lawyers staged a sit-in on the road at Ontimamidi. They were angry that they had the right to tour the affected villages, but the police felt otherwise. The lawyers were further incensed that one of them was hit by a car of Bhanu Prakash, MLC, who was passing by. The lawyers, who had been in the forefront of all agitations in the region, had now taken up the Mallannasagar issue also.
