Woman at Ameerpet defies chain-snatchers, stabbed twice

A woman who defied a chain-snatcher and whose gold chain did not snap was stabbed twice by two chain-snatchers at Ameerpet in Hyderabad on Monday. The chain-snatchers pulled the chain of the woman at Kummariguda. But the woman stood her ground, and her sturdy chain did not snap. She shouted for help. Before anyone could come to her rescue the chain-snatchers stabbed her. Fearing the people were coming to her rescue, they stabbed her again and escaped on their bike. In the busy Ameerpet, the chain-snatchers would not be able to escape the cameras. There are many gold shops in the area, which should be having CC cameras. Police are trying to track them down. Meanwhile, the people who came to her rescue had got her admitted to a hospital, praising her for her courage to resist armed chain-snatchers.
