Midas touch leads to murder touch for Gold Man
A Pune businessman, who wears a golden shirt of 22 carat, rings of gold and also a gold necklace, was murdered on Thursday. Popularly called Gold Man, he was Dattatreya Puj, aged 44. The Gold Man's wife, Seema, told the police that some people had taken her husband out on Thursday night. At Bharatmatanagar, he was beaten to death with stones and weapons, she added. Seema is an NCP leader and former corporator. The police have arrested four suspects, including Dattatreya's nephew. Dattatreya got the golden touch by running a chit fund company. He was stated to have derived funds from scores of people. He was frequently quarreling with the investors. He also faced several criminal cases.
