Babu drawing up investment plans on tissue papers, says YCP

The YCP leader, Srikant Reddy, on Tuesday flayed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for handing over thousands of acres of precious land in the State to foreign capitalists just because they had white skin or blue eyes. Frequently going abroad in the name of getting investment to the State, the Chief Minister visiting foreign countries, staying in small hotels and drawing up plans on tissue paper, available in those hotels, and coming back home, telling us he had brought in so much equipment. This was only fooling the people, he added. Talking to the media in Hyderabad, Srikant Reddy said white skin and blue eyes were sufficient for the Chief Minister to enter into negotiations with foreigners on investment plans. In the process, the Chief Minister was not hesitating to throw away precious lands to foreigners. He noted that in the past Chandrababu had said just 2000 acres were sufficient for Bandar port. Now he had inflated the figure to over 100,000 acres. This is loot in the name of land pooling, he said. The Chief Minister was doing the round of the foreign countries only for his personal aggrandisement. The people have found out the Babu policies of deceit, he added. Srikant Reddy demanded, once again, a white paper on the investments coming into the State.
