“Bangaru Telangana Party” formed for total prohibition

Hyderabad, July 10: The newly formed “Bangaru Telangana Party” would contest 2019 elections with enforcement of total prohibition as its main agenda. The compulsory helmet law would also be made optional. The party would put down corruption with an iron hand. Ban on gutkha and smoking in the public places and other important issue will be in the agenda of the new party. Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, party convener Mohd. Amanullah Khan challenged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to hold a referendum on the issue of enforcing total prohibition. He said if the people voted opposing Prohibition, he would wound up the party. Otherwise, the TRS should step down and give an opportunity to others to rule the State. He also said the Chief Minister has no moral right to utter “Bangaru Telangana” without enforcing total prohibition in the State. Amanullah Khan said 80% of the crimes would come down automatically if total prohibition was enforced in the Telangana State on the lines of Bihar Government headed by Nitish Kumar, who enforced dry law from April this year. He also alleged that TRS party bagged the majority of seats (99) in the recent GHMC elections due to liquor and money flow. New party leaders A Satti Reddy, Shaik Raheem and Farooq Bhai, were also present.
