Pawan Kalyan to encourage traditional arts
Power Star Pawan Kalyan on Saturday participated in the closing function of the United Kingdom Telugu Association, saying efforts like this one would be very useful for continuing the traditions by the future generations. He said he would ensure that the traditions were reflected in his films. Towards this end, he has been engaged in singing folk songs in the respective local accent in his films. He interacted with the local artists associations. The UKTA anniversary was held at Troxy near Lime House tube station. Power Star Pawan Kalyan was the chief guest. A Kuchipudi recital Jayathe Kuchipudi was organised on the occasion. Telangana folk legend Vaddepalli Srinivas gave his performance. Jayathe Bathukamma was also played. The theme of the anniversary is `Let's encourage our traditions: Let's Protect Our Traditional Arts.'
