Few film bigwigs respond to `Friends Request'

The old problem of small producers surfaced in the industry again on Saturday. The have been deprived of theatres for long. So when `Friends Request' film producers wanted to release their film, they faced the old problem of not getting enough theatres. Even the cinemas that had agreed to release the film had backed out at the last minute. Cowed down by the conditions, the entire `Friends Request' unit staged a dharna at the Film chambers in Film Nagar in Jubilee Hills. Owing to the dharna, some film personalities such as Tollywood hero Aditya Om and producer C. Kalyan reached the spot and expressed their solidarity with the small film producers.
