Farmers being driven to suicide, warns YCP Jagan

Inaugurating `Gadapagadapaku' (Mass Contact) programme of his party, YCP leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday flayed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for not keeping his promises, as a result of which the affected people maybe driven to commit suicide. He said the day was not far when the farmers might have to resort to suicide to overcome their condition. After paying tributes to YS Rajasekhar Reddy, his father, at YSR ghat at Idupulapaya, Jagan called on the people to fire questions at leaders who had made promises and now were at large. If the people did not question now, the leaders would go ahead with their cheating. Jagan said under the mass contact programme, every house in the State would be sent a ballot to find out the people's reaction to the current situation. On the basis of the feedback, they would expose the machinations of the leaders.
