Governor tells Telugu States to focus on development

Governor E S L Narasimhan along with Chief inister Chandrababu Naidu inspected the under-construction temporary secretariat structure here within the jurisdiction of Amravati. The Governor, after visiting the temporary secretariat building, expressed satisfaction on the construction works at Amaravati. He said first time he was visiting the place. ‘I saw every corner of the secretariat. It was a modern and nice concept. This will help in improving working style and efficiency’. The Governor said initially there would be some problems, but these problems would be resolved. He asked the Chief Ministers of both the Telugu-speaking states to focus on development agenda. Narasimhan also exuded confidence that both states would become top states in the country in the near future. Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said a permanent secretariat with modern facilities would come up just five km from Velagapudi, at Amaravati in about 900 acres of land. He said the Governor was apprised about the construction of Secretariat and his suggestion and advice would taken for further improvement of the facilities. There are so many problems in the newly-created A P. ‘We are following the suggestions given by the Governor to sort out all problems’, he said. Ministers Prattipati Pullarao, Ravela Kishorebabu, Narayana and local MLA Shravan kumar and others were present.
