Lawyers held as they take out a rally to Raj Bhavan
Telangana lawyers on Tuesday staged a dharna at Indira Park and later took out a rally to go to Raj Bhavan but were arrested there itself. Following this there was a hot debate between the police and the lawyers. The lawyers are demanding the withdrawal of suspension on the judicial staff and split of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The dharna was staged under the auspices of the BJP legal cell. Earlier, lawyers in huge numbers arrived at Indira Park. Then they wanted to take out a rally, in which party MLC Ramachandra Rao also participated. The police halted them at Indira park itself and took some of them into custody. The BJP blamed the TRS government for keeping quiet on the lawyers agitation even as the advocates got trapped in their stir.
