Chennai police release Swathi killer's picture

The Chennai police have released a high resolution picture of the murderer who killed a techie of Infosys, Swathi, at Nungambakkam railway station in that metropolis. The Chennai police had sent the footage of the killer obtained through CCTV cameras to the Forensic Laboratory in Hyderabad. With the clear footage obtained, they have developed a mugshot of the killer and released it to the media. Intervening suo motu in the case, the Madras High Court had directed the police there to catch the criminal in 2 days. The deadline had passed and the police were yet to catch the criminal. Those who find the man in the picture have been requested to report to the nearest police station so as to catch the criminal, the police added.
