There's no JAC at all in Telangana: Jagdeesh Reddy

Despite KCR telling his ministers not to attack Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof Kodandaram, Minister Jagdeesh Reddy on Wednesday made a veiled attack on the JAC, saying `Actually, there is no JAC at all in Telangana. There was a JAC in the agitation for separation of Telangana.' Courting controversy, Jagdeesh Reddy was reacting to the charges being made by the JAC on the functioning of the government. He did not say anything further in his interview to a TV channel on hike in charges. He said the government wanted to hike charges to the least possible extent. `That is what we have done (bus fares and power tariff),' he said. As for the defections, he said some conspiracies were going on in the TDP and the Congress. That is why the leaders from those parties were joining the ruling TRS, he added.
