HC suspends 3 more judges on Tuesday
The Telangana High Court is not relenting in the face of the lawyers' agitation. On Tuesday, it suspended three judges for supporting the ongoing lawyers agitation. The suspended judges of the lower courts are Radhakrishna Chauhan, Ramakant and Tirupati. They are in addition to the two judges already suspended.
The High court said in its order of suspension that it was doing so because of the indiscipline among the judges.
On Monday, the High Court suspended two judges for supporting the lawyers who are agitating for a split of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. They also raised slogans such as `Andhra Judges go back'.
The Telangana lawyers find several names of the Andhras among the Judicial officers list released for Telangana. They want the list to be withdrawn. Besides, the Andhra judges have been given options whether to stay put or go back.
