Homoeopathy intiatives for TS listed

Member, Central Council of Homoeopathy, Dr N Srinivasa Rao, has submitted a letter to the Minister for Health and Medical, Dr C Laxma Reddy, listing out the initiatives that need to be immediately taken up for development of Homoeopathy in Telangana State. Dr Rao pointed out that the Telangana Government had taken first step in establishing the State Epidemic Cell and convened a meeting last year, but it has seen no progress. He requested the Minister to look into this and ensure that the process is put into action. He further wanted the Minister to ensure that Homeopathy is provided in the most distant and peripheral areas like in Adilabad or Warangal forests, tribal zones. Among other things, Dr Rao requested the Government for the establishment of E-Class Rooms and Smart Teaching in AYUsh colleges; Establishment/revamp of Board of AYUSH, Telangana and Starting of C M E Programs; establishment of National Homoeopathy Museum in the premises of the National Institute of Indian Medical Heritage in Hyderabad; and establishment of Regional Research Institute of Homeopathy of the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy in Karimnagar and provision for permanent buildings for the Drug Standardization and Clinical research Units of CCRH in Hyderabad.
