Division of Judicial Officers between Telugu States not proper: Vinod, MP

The division of the Judicial Officers between the two Telugu States is not proper, Telangana Bar Association representatives have said. In this connection, a representation headed by TRS MP Vinod and comprising Bar Association representatives met Law Minister Indrakaran Reddy in the Secretariat on Saturday. Talking to the media later, Vinod said the representatives were saying the division of judicial officers was not proper. The State government should take the initiative in this regard and the Centre urged to withdraw the list. He noted in this connection that the AP Reorganisation Act said that judicial officers should be posted where they were. It also entailed the appointment of a committee to oversee the division. But the division was done even without the constitution of a committee as per Section 80 of the Act.
