Babu angry at snail's pace of Pushkaram works

AP Chief Minister Chadnrababu Naidu was on Thursday unhappy with the snail's pace of work on the Krishna river ghats in Vijayawada. The ghats are being constructed for the coming Krishna pushkarams. Inspecting the ghat works at many places on the river, he reminded the contractors that the Pushkarams would begin on August 12. He set a deadline for the contractors that all the pushkaram works should be completed in 90 days from now. After that the pushkarams would start anyway. He urged the people's representatives at the respective places to check the progress of the pushkaram works and give advice to contractors on compelting the works in time. They maybe MPs, MLAs or corporators. He appealed to the people to take interest in the works because they have a stake in it.
