Mudragada doesn't like Kapus to be included among BCs: Chinarajappa

Deputy Chief Minister Chinarajappa revealed on Wednesday that Kapu supremo Mudragada Padmanabham did not like the community to be included among the Backward Classes. He noted that before anyone broached the subject, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had promised to include the Kapus among the Backward Classes. He pointed out in this connection that Mudragada was not willing to wait till the Manjunatha Commission submitted its report on the reservation for the Kapus. If Mudragada could wait till the report was submitted, it would be good for the community. Mudragada broke his fast-unto-death programme after 13 days today, and since returned to his native Kirlampudi.
