Staff transfers only to bring out best teams, says Babu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday talked about the transfer policy of his government with the officials in a teleconference. Reviewing the transfers district-wise, the Chief Minister said the idea of the transfers was to make every employee work with the government. Transfers would bring out the best teams among the staff, he added. He said the employees who would show interest in working in the agency areas would be encouraged. He noted that if the government resorted to one-sided transfers under pressure, it would earn a bad name. Transfer guidelines should be strictly followed, he told the officials.
