Medical College at Bibnagar NIMS
Hyderabad, June 20: The state Government has got approval from the Centre for starting the medical college at Bibinagar Nims from 2017 Health Minister Dr. Lakshma Reddy said. During his visit to Panjagutta Nims here he disclosed that Medical College will start functioning from next academic year, he said while some patients tried to meet him in vain.
The patients were seen protesting for the denial of Arogyasri cards by the NIMS. When the helpless patients tried to bring it to the notice of the minister the staff prevented and sent them out.
As part of strengthening the health sector, the government is taking all steps besides funding to get the latest equipment he said. Lakshma Reddy also said to lay the foundation to start Nephrology, Urology blocks in the hospital to offer the best services. The people thronging in large numbers will get better health services at Nims and at all other government hospitals the minister claimed.
