Adopt Centre's Fasal Bima, Dattanna tells KCR

Union Labour Minister Dattatreya, who is touring Nizamabad district, on Thursday directed the TRS government to adopt the Fasal Bima of the BJP-led Centre to protect the farmers' interests in the State. Stating that the Modi government plans were being hailed by the people all over the country, he wanted the farmers' interests in drought-prone areas in Telangana to be protected. He wanted the K. Chandrasekhar Rao government to take the benefit of the Fasal Bima plan in particular. Dattatreya said under the 14th Financial Commission recommendations, the State government was entitled to Rs 100,000 crore. He wanted a healthy cooperation between the Centre and the State for the healthy growth of Telangana.
