TRS looting in the name of irrigation projects: Digvijay

Congress in-charge for Telangana Digvijay Singh on Wednesday said the TRS government was looting the people by hiking the capital outlays of irrigation projects. Thereby opening the floodgates of corruption, he added. Digvijay said without implementing the Land Acquisition Act, the TRS government was subjecting the people coming under submergence under projects to misery. They were not being paid compensation also. The Congress is now moving in the direction of strengthening the party. With Digvijay Singh's arrival in the city, the Congress leaders held a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan in this connection. PCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP leader Jana Reddy and several other leaders participated in the meeting.
