KCR blames Congress for Delhi conspiracy
The Congress is taking the defection issue seriously and manoeuvring in Delhi for introducing President's rule in Telangana on this issue, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao alleged on Wednesday, alerting the people to a possible danger.
He noted in this connection that congress leader Jana Reddy was heaping criticism on him. `Let me ask Jana Reddy. When YS Rajasekhar Reddy was the Chief Minister, were there no defections? If you encourage defections, it is all right. And if others do, it is wrong. If you do it, it is running a family, and if others do, it is prostitution?'
KCR also quoted AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as having said that the TRS government would fall before 2019 and the formation of a TDP government thereafter.
Taking these into account, KCR cautioned the people. `Again there is a conspiracy in Delhi. Demand for President's rule is going on. The people of Telangana should be alert to thwart such designs.
`Telangana today stands on its own feet. We should not let our rule slip through our fingers. Today, the development in Telangana is unbelievable,' he added.
