CM checks Velagapudi Secretariat work, not satisfied

The work on the temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi has not shown much progress to Chief Minister Chandrababu Nadiu since his last visit. He expressed his unhappines at the pace of the work. He said as much on Wednesday that he saw no progress in the work since his last visit. The Chief Minister directed the L&T contractors to speed up the work. There are hardly ten days for the AP government staff from Hyderabad to move in. He also directed the top officials to expedite the work by remaining on the spot. He pointed out that the Vijayawada real estate workers were available on the spot. Their services should be utilized. The departments would be shifting to Amaravati from Hyderabad in phases. First to move in would be the municipal staff, who were supposed to start work from Amaravati on June 27.
