YCP Proddatur MLA plays truant at Jagan meet

While the remnant YCP, after the defections to the ruling TDP, is meeting in Vijayawada, Proddatur MLA Rachamallu Sivaprasada Reddy, was conspicuous by his absence in the proceedings in the party meet. Instead Sivaprasada Reddy was active in the lcoal Eenadu programme of planting saplings in his native place. Eenadu has taken up `Vanabharati-Janaharati' actively in the area. At the Saibaba temple at Dorasanipalle in Proddatur, the MLA was seen planting saplings. While his intentions are not known, Sivaprasada Reddy obviously thought tree-planting is more important than the party programme aimed at arresting defections to the ruling TDP. In any case, YCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy gave the freedom to his party leaders to air their grievances in Vijayawada. He would simply listen to them. The Vijayawada meet is being attended by YCP MLAs, MLCs, MPs, district party presidents, district party unit leaders, ZPTC members and MPPTs also.
