Fasting Mudragada provided with special medical aid
The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to provide special medical aid to the fasting Kapu supremo Mudragada Padmanabham. Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas on Saturday passed orders in this regard.
The special medical team from Kakinada would be offering medical aid to Mudragada. The Kakinada team comprises four medical specialists from the Teaching Hospital there. Among other things, they will be conducting health risk assessment from time to time.
Mudragada is on a fast-unto-death in support of his demand that all those arrested in connection with Tuni violence should be released forthwith. So far 13 arrests have been made. The administration said that the six of them, who were first arrested a couple of days ago, were all rowdy-sheeters. The Kapu leader wants them released on the ground they are innocent.
Mudragada has been lodged in the Rajahmundry Government Hospital.
